Inspired by a holy site in India where two differently colored rivers, the Ganges and Jamuna, flow alongside each other without mixing- bound together by a third mythical river, the Saraswati, which supposedly weaves between them- SANGAM focuses on a chance meeting between two Indian men from different backgrounds on a NYC subway, and how they impact each other's lives.

The short film premiered at the SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL and has since been shown at over 35 film festivals worldwide. It is currently featured on MUBI, distributed by Film Movement, and has been broadcast on Arte/ZDF, The Sundance Channel and PBS.
